A Simple Beginning

We wanted something in between—something that still feels like making, but works for everyday life. We didn’t start as artisans, and we didn’t set out to “preserve a craft.” We simply wanted to create bags that feel warm, human, and easy to wear in real daily moments.

Where It Comes From

Some of the people in our studio used to work in picnic basket factories, where bamboo and rattan weaving were part of everyday work. This experience carried into our leather work today. Each bag is made through hand weaving combined with structured assembly, with added lining, hardware, and reinforcement for durability.

How We Make Things

We’re not traditional artisans, and we’re not a factory either. We sit somewhere in between.

In our studio, everything starts with the design, and then comes to life through a mix of hand weaving and simple structure work. Some parts are shaped by hand, some parts need a bit more structure—like lining, hardware, and reinforcement—so the bag actually works in everyday life, not just looks good.

We’re not trying to make perfect “craft pieces.” We’re just trying to make bags that feel real—something you can actually use, carry, and live with, while still keeping that handmade touch in them.

For us, it’s not about choosing between handmade or practical. It’s about finding a way to have both in the same thing.
