What I Realized
My bags worked fine—they held everything I needed—but they all felt kind of cold and lifeless. That’s when I realized I was missing something real, something with warmth, texture, and soul.
The Return to Craft
So we stepped away from assembly lines and returned to the slowest way of making things—hand weaving. When I touched our first finished leather tote, I felt an instant calm. You could feel the hours of human focus in every woven strand. It felt alive.

It Started With Our Mothers...
Our story began decades ago in the courtyard of a picnic basket weaving factory dormitory, where our mothers worked side by side. We grew up there too, surrounded by bamboo strips and rattan.
Back then, everything was made by hand. But over time, plastic goods took over the market, and the factory eventually closed. Life pulled everyone in different directions, and our mothers moved on—but their friendship stayed.
Years later, as our mothers reached retirement, we came back together again, drawn by the same dream. In 2021, we started this studio, working side by side once more—combining their decades of craft with our hands today.
